A rumor was being passed along the web along with leaked Black Ops 2 images that Infinity Ward is hard at work for the next installment on the Modern Warfare franchise. According to Captain Price.
Billy Murray, Captain Price voice actor in the Modern Warfare series had stated that Infinity Ward is already working on Modern Warfare 4. Infinity Ward has since debunked the rumor, claiming it is all speculation.
"Interesting news today, but it’s not true. We’ve not talked with any voice actors, so all news is speculation "
I personally think the Modern Warfare series has ended. I expect Infinity Ward to introduce a new and much needed Call of Duty. Maybe a World War II shooter? Let us know in the comment section below what theme you think Activision and Infinity Ward should go with.
